Labour Councillor for Waltham Cross, Sean Waters, has written to the Government urging support for a Banking Hub in Broxbourne.

For too long, vast areas of our Borough have been left without access to essential banking services due to years of Conservative neglect. This has hit elderly and vulnerable residents the hardest, making it difficult for them to access cash and manage their finances.

Under the Labour Government, the UK has reached 100 Banking Hubs, with a commitment to 350 by 2029. Cllr Waters is calling for Broxbourne to be part of this expansion to improve financial access for local people and help revitalise our high streets.

Broxbourne Labour is fighting to restore banking services in our community. We look forward to the Government’s response and will continue to push for better financial access for all.
