More new people have joined the Labour Party since 12 September than the total membership of UKIP.

50,000 people have joined Labour since the announcement of the Leadership Election.   This exceeds the 47,000 membership of UKIP and is approaching the 62,000 figure for the Liberal Democrats and 67,000 members of the Green Party.   Overall the Labour Party has 360,000 members.
