It brings us jobs, growth and investment, protects British workers and consumers and helps keep us safe. Leaving would put that at risk and diminish Britain’s influence in the world.
Over three million British jobs are linked to our trade with the EU. And almost half of all British exports in good and services go to countries in the European Union.
Being in the EU gives working people vital protections such as paid holiday, parental leave, protection for agency workers and health and safety in the workplace.
Holidays, cars and the weekly shop are all cheaper because we’re in Europe. Leaving would result in a shock to Britain’s economy which would leave working people worse off.
Leaving the EU would hurt our economy – even the Leave campaign admit that this is the case. This would mean less money for our NHS and other vital public services.
Vote Remain on Thursday.
